Here is a massive anvil with a lot going for it! First it rings and rebounds like the best smaller anvils. In fact it is more difficult to properly harden larger. In addition the edges are good. Over the years teams of blacksmiths pounded the surface into a slight saddle. Then some careless soul nicked the edges with a torch.
